Happy Release Day: BARTOK unveils new single “He Comes To Me”

On April 8, BARTOK — the alter ego of Marco Bartoccioni — releases his new single “He Comes To Me”, accompanied by the official music video. Where the previous single “No Way Back” revealed a more introspective and morally reflective side of the project, this new release deliberately shifts direction. This time, the emphasis is on spontaneity, lightness, and a playful sense of defiance.

At the heart of the track is the presence of Sarah Jane Olog, whose role emerged from a spontaneous and genuine meeting. That same unforced energy runs through the entire project. Rather than building the song around a predetermined concept, the process followed the chemistry of the moment — capturing a natural exchange that shaped both the sound and the atmosphere of the recording.

“He Comes To Me” consciously plays with the idea of nonsense: fragments, everyday expressions, and suggestive lines that gradually build toward a near-protest statement in the middle section:

“If you want to write a right song, you must write a no-sense song.”

It’s a paradox that subtly reflects the current zeitgeist and comments on parts of today’s music culture. While “No Way Back” focused on responsibility and reflection, this new single explores something different — the creative freedom found in not knowing.

The music video translates this concept into fresh, direct imagery. Instead of a constructed narrative or artificial setting, the visuals rely on pure energy, chemistry, and expressive freedom. The natural connection between BARTOK and Sarah Jane Olog forms the emotional core of the video. The camera captures the genuine joy and spontaneity of the recording process, allowing viewers to feel that same sense of play and immediacy.

With this release, BARTOK highlights the artistic breadth of the project: moving from the concentrated intensity of “No Way Back” to the playful disruption of “He Comes To Me.” Yet the underlying philosophy remains the same — simplicity as a creative statement. Less construction, more truth.

Today, we celebrate not just a release, but a vision set in motion.

Happy Release Day.
